In the first three months, Vietnam attracted 7.71 billion U.S. dollars in FDI, up 77.6 percent year-on-year, while disbursement reached 3.62 billion U.S. dollars, up 3.4 percent against the same period last year, said the agency. The manufacturing sector received the largest FDI capital, with 6.54 billion U.S. dollars, accounting for 84.9 percent of the total capital registered in Q1, followed by the real estate sector with 343.69 million U.S. dollars and 4.4 percent, respectively. As of March 20, 2017, Vietnam has had a total of 23,071 valid FDI projects with 300.7 billion U.S. dollars pledged, of which 158.45 billion U.S. dollars had been disbursed, said the agency, which is under the Vietnam Ministry of Planning and Investment.|dfg|
